Overcoming sin

Live audio chat with Margaret Rogers, C.S.B.

In this chat Margaret Rogers opens by saying a prayer, using verses from Psalm 51, to help all the listeners with this great demand to overcome sin. One of the verses she quotes is, “Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.” She shows us how we are all really “hungering hearts asking God to show us how to be His image and likeness and that's what sinlessness is. It is to be our true self, the image of God.” Margaret goes on to say that as we become more familiar with our sinless spiritual nature, anything unlike that nature just drops away.

Margaret answers questions such as: Who or what should I consider to be the final source in deciding what a sin is? Is homosexuality a sin? How can I overcome the idea of pleasure in sin? Does Mary Baker Eddy ever define sin? Is mutual affection, expressed in loving your spouse and engaging in physical intimacy with them, wrong if one has no intention of having children? Can you help in healing issues such as envy, resentment, and hatred?

Listen to this chat and discover God's unconditional Love that frees us from sin.
