How you can participate in the Olympics—with prayer

Live audio chat with Tony Lobl, C.S.

In his opening remarks, Tony invites you and all listeners to be spiritual participants in the Olympics, whether you’re a sports fans or not. Tony says, "The Olympic torch is a magnificent symbol . . . of the unifying of nations. And that idea of unity is something we can all get our thoughts wrapped around and appreciate. . . . The Olympics bring a wonderful sense of coming together, and you see the world looking like what it should, with people living that spirit of unity.”

Tony fields questions on Olympic rivalries and competition among nations, issues of athletic performance and health, overcoming limitations, and fears of terrorism and safety threats. He also encourages listeners to share their sports-related healings and how they have viewed athletics in a spiritual way.
