Normal breathing restored

This is adapted from a testimony originally posted during The Mother Church’s online Wednesday testimony meeting.

When our daughter was first born, she occasionally had difficulty breathing. When she was two months old, I was awakened in the middle of the night by a noise coming from her bedroom. I went to the room to discover this precious child in distress, fighting to breathe.

In a panic, I wondered, “What can I do?” All sorts of material remedies flooded into thought but were rejected with the fearful conclusion that I didn’t have time.

So I turned to God, divine Love, which I knew was an immediate, effective aid. I knew I needed to correct my thought, and that Love could quiet my fear, guide my prayer, and adjust thought and action. I urgently prayed to God to help me see what God was seeing, and to know what God was knowing. I humbly sought to respond to His guidance with all my heart.
