Healed of a burn

I am very grateful to Christian Science for all the blessings it brings to me. It is a treasure at hand for me every day.

One evening, a while ago, my wife brought me some tea in a cup made of glass. She had mistakenly microwaved the water for too long. The cup was extremely hot, so I had to put it down quickly on the side table near my chair. In my haste, I placed the cup out of balance, so it tipped over, and the hot water fell on my leg. I quickly took off the light pair of pants I was wearing, and I noticed that my leg was discolored and painful to the touch.

Earlier that same evening, during a meeting at my church, I had shared with the participants a healing that I had experienced through prayer. I knew, therefore, that I could rely again on spiritual truth, which had inspired me before, in order to find healing in my present situation.
