The ‘devotion of thought’ to healing

When we are engaged in healing through the Science of the Christ, it’s good to remember this biblical teaching: “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2).

The immediacy of Christ Jesus’ healing work shows that he viewed the need for healing not as a long-term project, but as the fulfilling of an immediate need. This was evidenced when he healed a woman of an issue of blood (see Matthew 9:20–22), Simon’s mother-in-law of a fever (see Mark 1:30, 31), and a man of congenital blindness (see John 9:1–7).

Divine Love meets all our human needs now, just as Jesus proved.
