God always takes care of us

Daniel’s healing was originally written in French and first published in the French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese editions of The Herald of Christian Science.

A couple of years ago, I had a wart on my hand. My dad, who is not a Christian Scientist, took me for a checkup with a doctor. The doctor removed the wart, but after a few months, it came back. I asked my Sunday School teacher to pray for me because I knew that God was (and is) all, and I wanted to be healed of this for good. My Sunday School teacher agreed right away to pray for me, and I felt very happy. I was sure that God was taking care of me.

After a few days, I noticed that the wart had become smaller. I showed my mum and told her my Sunday School teacher was praying for me. She said we could expect the wart to disappear completely because God didn’t make me with a wart. Therefore it wasn’t part of me. I was pure and free.

A few months later, when I went to see the doctor for another regular checkup, I had forgotten all about the wart. My dad asked the doctor to remove it again. But when the doctor looked at my hand, there was no wart. The doctor was very surprised. But I knew it was normal for it to be healed, because God didn’t make a wart in the first place. God created all His children perfect. And as I had expected, the wart never came back. I am very grateful!
