Cause and creation*

Some say the world began with fire—
Big Bang with molecules arranged.
There’s much in that view to admire,
But more with “things for thoughts” exchanged!

If empty void was first, you see,
It yields a universe that’s bleak.
Cold matter makes up all, and we—
We’re just material physique.

But still, I’ve heard a different call;
A view divine with higher laws.
Instead of nothing, start with ALL—
With God as our beginning Cause.

Eternal Love is at the helm!
When I look at the stars and see
God’s hand, which guides this boundless realm,
I’m grateful—and I’m overwhelmed—
To think He also cares for me.
