A palette full of light

After taking my first art lesson, I never saw the world in the same light. I gained an insight into how color, tone, and light bring out shape and form, and how lighting reveals the beautiful colors in objects that appear to be dull.

Sometime later an artist friend and I were both looking at the sunlight on a farmhouse wall. She remarked on the beautiful colors she could see. I couldn’t say I shared her view at that moment, but I wanted to. From then on, I started to paint with more colors, using a broader spectrum than I had previously thought about, and eventually, I was able to see more color for myself.

In order to see spiritual reality, we need to use our spiritual senses and learn that the substance (or colors) of Spirit’s harmony and health are everywhere present.
