Your questions about Church

RESPONSE 1: JOHN KOHLER

Love is attractive! Or as Mary Baker Eddy says, “. . . Love is reflected in love” (Science and Health, p. 17).

To me the crux of Sunday School and teaching is the sharing of love. If you’re truly engaged with the Christian Science Bible Lesson—I mean really into it—and if you truly understand that Christian Science is the divine Comforter, that is going to come across. It doesn’t matter how you teach—whether you’re using TMCyouth.com video to get a conversation started, or if you’re simply working with the Bible and Science and Health. It’s this hearts-on-fire love for God and Science which will teach and enliven your students. More than that, this love will attract others. For one thing, students will be so inspired about Sunday School they’ll start inviting their buddies to come with them. People walking by your church will be inexplicably drawn to come check it out.
