LETTERS

I was impressed and moved by Dorinda Berner's testimony of her healing of a serious burn in the December 15, 2008, Sentinel ["Modern-day prodigal son"]. The calm she maintained throughout the several-week experience (and that permeated her testimony) was exemplary and highly inspirational. My jaw dropped when I read, "I never missed a day of school [as a teacher]." Comments by Dorinda's husband, Mike, were icing on the cake.

I flashed back to the article, "Let your light shine," in the previous week's issue, where the mother of the girl who was healed at one point uttered, "If you panic, you're assuming that God is not in control, which is impossible."
