LETTERS

A few weeks ago, I had Christian Science class instruction at the teacher's home. At the side of the walkway there were beautiful roses. One especially attracted my attention. It had many buds on the same stem. When I read its name, "Harkness Abundance Rose," that became the leading motive for me in class instruction: We were ready to "harken" (or hearken) to many wonderful thoughts and were instructed to "harken" to the "still small voice" that was to lead our life.

I also felt a sense of abundance beginning to show in my heart. An abundance of enlightened thoughts, an abundance that can never diminish since it comes from the one source that is always overflowing with good.

Moreover, during class the Sentinel with "class instruction" as its theme came out [June 11]. What a provision for us! I am very grateful for class instruction.
