It does work

As the Sentinel team's editors and designers sat around a conference table one Tuesday morning discussing this issue on what Mary Baker Eddy called "practical, operative Christian Science," the thought occurred to me, "Isn't that really what every issue of the Sentinel covers?" Each week we offer articles, personal experiences, and testimonies from those who are putting Christian Science to work in their lives. But then I realized that even though this concept runs naturally throughout each issue, it's certainly worth a special effort to affirm its practicality.

I'm always in awe of the fact that at this very moment, all over the world, the Christ, Truth, is at work supporting, soothing, strengthening the work and prayers of everyone in search of inspiration and healing. God makes His own practicality visible in our daily lives.

I like to think of this Truth as a no-nonsense, getting-down-to-business power. It removes any obstacle that tries to block good from taking hold in our thoughts and lives.
