LETTERS

I really appreciated Laurance R. Doyle's article, "Do the spiritual math," in the February 27 issue ["Stand up to terror"]. Math was always my favorite subject when I was in school. I appreciated the absoluteness of it. Like Christian Science, it's provable! I have used this same analogy about a mistake in math many times myself in demonstrating Christian Science but received more insight from this article.

It does not matter how long we have believed that 2+2=5, how many times or how long it has been written on the blackboars, or how many others may have been fooled into believing it—it just isn't true, never was true, and never can be true for it has no principle to make it true.

I would also like to express my gratitude for all the timely articles, the eye-catching cover pages, and the photography contained in the Sentinels. Copies are made of some and displayed in our Christian Science Reading Room windows. They are healing angels! Who could feel sad after seeing in the same issue Lori White's photograph of the three little girls playing the piano and singing! It cheered my day.
