Someone to listen

Listen . Say it a certain way and a hush follows, summoning a kind of "tiptoe" alertness that waits for a sound.

But there's another kind of listening. It, too, requires focus and attention. It's listening with the heart. Listening with the heart makes a healing connection, because the heart is tuned to something beyond sounds. It listens with understanding and affection. And when someone listens to you that way, you feel loved.

Listening with love is powerful. It breaks down walls between generations, builds bridges of peace between enemies, connects with God.
