"Every four days enough people to populate a new Detroit or Dallas are added to the earth," Reported The Christian Science Monitor last year. During the past century our world has grown at an unprecedented rate. Yet, since the dawn of civilization the world's population has never been constant. One thing, however, is constant and unchanging—God's love for His children. Even thousands of years ago, words recorded in the Bible's book of Psalms speak of God's care for everyone: "How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures."

God's lovingkindness and spiritual power are unlimited, universal. And this truth serves everyone—everywhere. Because God's children are actually made in His spiritual likeness, reflecting Him, each of us is truly nourished spiritually, completely, and continuously by God. To understand this makes a tremendous difference in human experience. Christ Jesus proved how knowing God's love—and living that love—can satisfy essential needs even when material supplies seem sadly inadequate. So, today, on the finite square-footage of this planet, to earth's billions nothing is more important than what is infinite —God's spiritual, loving care.
