Relying upon the healing power of God is the most deeply rewarding way to worship Him. Christian Science healing is consistent in its effectiveness and brings a greater awareness of our closeness to God and His unfailing love for us. For the many healings I have experienced and witnessed, I am very appreciative. But I find myself, as do so many others, even more grateful for the spiritual growth that inevitably attends each healing.

About two years ago, I woke one morning to find one eye sealed closed. When I bathed the area to open it, I noticed the eye was badly inflamed, and that there was a growth inside the lid.

I prayed to know that God's creation is perfect and that I reflect that perfection. I held my thoughts to this for several days. The external evidence of the condition cleared up, but underneath, the growth was still there.
