A CERTAIN MAN

Acts 3:1–8

We read about this man
incredibly standing,
pouring out thanks,
not holding back,
fairly leaping with joy.

When we think about this,
we who have always walked
who can skip anytime
who have heard ourselves boasting
of leaps and bounds—

If we really think about this,
nothing can stop us
standing tall now
like a certain man
taking glad strides into the temple.
