I am grateful to be learning more and more that God, not matter or material conditions, is the source of man's health. "The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science, is Love," Mrs. Eddy says on page 113 of Science and Health. I should like to tell how this divine Love meets our needs when rightly applied. The following are just two of the many instances of healing in our family accomplished through prayerful reliance on Christian Science.

Our youngest child, then eleven months, accidentally slipped from my arms while we were in the bathroom. There was a deep cut above her eye. She seemed to have had a concussion. I let fear in, so I called a Christian Science practitioner. Immediately the baby stopped crying. In a few days the cut was healed without a scar of any kind. We know that when the memory of an accident is gone so is the scar.

Our oldest boy, then beginning junior high school, came home limping and feeling not too well. We called a Christian Science practitioner for support. The next day his teacher called and was worried about him. She said she thought his trouble was appendicitis.
