LET SILENCE SPEAK

He answered Pilate not a word.
To hold his peace was his reply;
His will, inaudible, unheard,
Not to affirm nor yet deny.

He answered not a word. O wise
Rejoinder, to let silence speak
And quietness of heart advise—
Thus to inherit with the meek.
