LOVE IS THE ANSWER

This is the hour of opportunity. Now, more than ever before, mankind are seeking a solution to their many problems. Love is the answer. As Mary Baker Eddy states in her "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 117), "We see eye to eye and know as we are known, reciprocate kindness and work wisely, in proportion as we love."

To love truly we must know that Love is divine Principle, the only cause and creator, and we must know man individually and collectively as the image of God. We must establish the qualities of Love in consciousness and live them. We must understand that it is the nature of Love to bless and that the real man reflects this nature in thought and action.

Are we thinking that in order to love we must dwell in an ivory tower and ignore evil's claims to presence and power? Quite the contrary is true; but we do deny and turn away from the beliefs of material birth and mortal identity, from everything that is unlike divine Principle, and admit as real only that which has its origin in God, good. We do not love that which is evil; we see it as nothing through our understanding of Love and its perfect creation as revealed in Christian Science. Discord is without Principle; hence discord is without cause, intelligence, substance, and has no law to support it. Discord is never more than an incident in the dream of material living.
