ASSURANCE

A springtime follows even coldest winter,
A morning breaks the gloom of darkest night;
And we, though in the throes of midnight anguish,
May know that evil yields to Truth's pure light.
Then, lifting curtains of despair and fear,
We see the dawn of victory appear.
