God's care in my piano lessons

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11). This is my favorite Bible verse.

From the time I was a baby, my mom took me to Christian Science church services. When I was old enough to attend Sunday School classes, I learned about God, became familiar with Bible stories, and began practicing the truth that I was learning by healing the problems I faced.

When I was five years old, my parents enrolled me in a music school. I started practicing the piano seriously when I was in level 6—one level before the preparatory level. I was afraid I could not continue my piano lessons if I did not make it to the preparatory level. I was really disappointed when I was put in a transitional class, to see whether I was good enough for the next level.
