Question of the Week

After many years of presenting readers with a single “Question of the Week,” it’s become clear that, when building on a spiritual foundation, turning to the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy’s writings gives each one of us a strong foundation not only for helping ourselves but also meeting the important need for treating the world. Every article and testimony in our periodicals — The Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, Heralds, and Monitor — is an opportunity for specific Christian Science treatment, and a call to expand our daily prayer to meet the needs of the world today. As a result of this renewed focus on the teachings of Christian Science and applying them to humanity’s needs, we are discontinuing the Question of the Week.

Many individuals are prayerfully addressing world issues on a daily basis. The Christian Science Monitor provides articles on the most important topics that need our prayer through its Daily News Briefing. Are you looking for ways to pray about events in your own life? The Sentinel blog, Living Christian Science Today and the Journal blog, Practice, Practice, Practice may be helpful places to start.
