Eye on the world: Airline safety

"World airline officials meeting in Montreal on safety": An article in The Christian Science Monitor reports that this week government and aviation industry officials from dozens of countries will meet in Montreal. “It is only the second high-level safety conference in the 70-year history of the International Civil Aviation Organization,” and the goal is to address increasing concerns about aviation safety.

The editorial "Safety in the Air" covers a wide range of ideas regarding aviation and makes this point: “Each of us can help increase air safety still further through admitting spiritual facts and rejecting physical appearances. How does this replacing action help? By bringing to light in human affairs the operation of God's law of harmony, perfection, and allness. Then the human appearance coincides more closely with the perfection of divine reality.”

The testimony referred to in the editorial above can be read by following this link: “On a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning ...”. It describes how both pilot and passenger prayed when the landing gear on their small plane did not come down properly.
